1) From Ikeja / Alausa / Maryland / Ojota / Berger / Ogba Axis

Route (fastest):

  • Take Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way → Oshodi–Apapa Expressway.
  • Drive past Oshodi, continue straight toward Cele / Mile 2.
  • At Mile 2, follow the service lane toward Festac Link Bridge.
  • Cross the Festac Bridge into 1st Avenue.
  • Drive straight along 1st Avenue until you approach 41 Road Junction.
  • The Festac Passport Office will be on your right.

Traffic Notes:

  • Oshodi–Mile 2 corridor is congested due to trailers and ongoing repairs.
  • Best travel window from Mainland: 10 AM – 2 PM.
  • Mile 2 can slow down significantly during the evening rush (4 PM – 7 PM).

2) From Surulere / Yaba / Lagos Island / Ikoyi / Victoria Island Axis

Route (recommended):

  • From Surulere, take Eric Moore Road → Orile → Badagry Expressway.
  • Continue toward Mile 2 on the expressway.
  • At Mile 2, follow signs to Festac Town using the Festac Link Bridge.
  • Enter 1st Avenue and continue straight.
  • Look for landmarks near 41 Road / Police Station area—the Passport Office is close by.

Traffic Notes:

  • Orile–Mile 2 lane is often very slow, especially mornings (7–9:30 AM).
  • Lagos Island/Victoria Island travelers should avoid Eko Bridge during peak hours.
  • Afternoon periods generally offer better travel times.

3) From Badagry / Ojo / LASU / Okokomaiko / Iyana Iba Axis

Route (most direct):

  • Take Lagos–Badagry Expressway toward Mile 2.
  • Turn right at Volks / Alakija Bus Stop into Festac Town Gate (Second Gate).
  • Drive straight through the access road until you reach 2nd Avenue or 1st Avenue, depending on traffic flow.
  • Navigate toward 41 Road / Festac Police Station area.
  • The Passport Office is along 1st Avenue.

Traffic Notes:

  • This axis usually experiences heavy morning traffic due to BRT lanes and construction.
  • Best travel times: 11 AM – 3 PM.
  • From Okokomaiko inward, expect slow movement during school hours.

4) From Amuwo Odofin / Agboju / Abule Ado / Trade Fair / Kirikiri Axis

Route (shortest):

  • From Agboju, enter Festac through the First Gate.
  • Continue straight down 1st Avenue.
  • Drive past 207 Road, 401 Road, and move toward 41 Road Junction.
  • The Passport Office sits on the right side along the main boulevard.

Traffic Notes:

  • This is the easiest and closest route to Festac Passport Office.
  • Minimal congestion outside school and church event hours.
  • Expect delays only around First Gate during peak entry hours.

5) From Apapa / Tin Can / Kirikiri Industrial Area

Route (main option):

  • Take Apapa–Oshodi Expressway heading toward Mile 2.
  • Follow the expressway until Mile 2 Bus Stop.
  • Join the Festac Link Bridge on your right.
  • Enter 1st Avenue and proceed straight toward 41 Road.
  • Festac Passport Office will be ahead on the right.

Traffic Notes:

Avoid this axis entirely during fuel scarcity or port congestion days.

Apapa–Wharf axis is heavily congested due to container movement.

Travel very early (before 7 AM) or after 11 AM for best timing.
